Good news! If you're in the domestic U.S., you should be receiving delivery notifications within the next 48 hours or so. Please be patient with our partners as they are working hard to get everything out the door. If you had a bundle or more complicated order that included the Herbalist Primer bundle, your order will be coming shortly thereafter.
For our international friends, you'll be getting notification from Backerkit within the next few days with your final shipping costs. You will be able to review the pricing and will be given a few days before the charges are made to update cards and adjust funds. After that, it should just be a short wait for the orders to start being packed and shipped out. Tracking will be sent out to you by EasyShip once your pledge is at the post office and on the way to you.

Hello again, Natural World Explorers!
Good news! We have some very exciting updates on shipping and how we are working to get your orders into your hands!
Everything has arrived at the warehouse except the flash cards. The flash cards were delayed, the manufacturer ran out of the type of card stock used for the cards and was unable to finish the printing of all of the cards. However, we have heard news that they received the rest of the card stock last Monday and they are finishing the print as you read this. The card printers have prioritized printing the flash cards to avoid much delay but we do not have an exact ETA on when the cards will arrive at our fulfillment center.
With that in mind, we decided to start shipping everything that we have now to ensure that you all have your books in hand well before the retail release date in November. We will ship out the flash cards–separately–as soon as they arrive in our fulfillment center. You will not be charged any additional shipping price for the flash card shipment; we will take on the difference.
Which brings us to shipping prices. US shipping and handling prices are in and we will be charging cards for US domestic orders tomorrow. You should have already received a notification from BackerKit. This gives you time to adjust your shipping addresses or make sure your bank account is ready for the charge.
We are still working on getting accurate shipping prices for international orders, so international orders will not be charged yet. The delay on that is because we have been seeking a prepaid VAT option for you all. However, getting a VAT ID that allows us to handle this charge directly–outside of a shipping partnership–takes a long time to file and receive; even if we had filed for this when we first ran the campaign, there’s no guarantee we could have received it in time for shipping..
We are still looking at other options but we have no guarantees or solutions yet. It is our goal to have this completely sorted and kick out the international orders by the end of the month, at the latest. We also do not believe that we will need to send multiple shipments to account for any orders with International orders with flashcards. That delay should sync up with our international shipping finalizations.
Once the final shipping prices for international orders are in, we will update you on the campaign page.

Hello again, Natural World Explorers!
Good news! We have received word (and pictures) from Whalebacker to let us know that our physical Geologist’s Primer books and some of the add ons have begun to arrive in the warehouse!
We are still waiting on a few more things to arrive but the momentum is really building now. Once everything is in the warehouse and the packing has begun, we will update you again here.
With that being said, we are gearing up to start shipping and fulfillment and with that comes some of the final charges and work in Backerkit.
We will be charging everyone's credit cards for additional add-ons in 24 hours. The charge this week will only be for additional add-ons. Not shipping.
The price you are seeing on your BackerKit currently does not include shipping or tax and does not reflect the final price you will be charged once the shipping costs are locked in.
With the loss of our previous fulfillment manager we had some bugs and kinks in the system with one of our previous campaigns. We are currently working to smooth out our internal systems and processes so that the Geologist’s Primer fulfillment goes as smoothly as possible.
This includes ensuring our shipping price calculations are correct, so that you all get the best deal. We are also filing for a VAT number so we can offer a pre-paid VAT for our international customer, if we are able. We hope to have more information and update you all on those correct shipping prices soon. Once we are ready we will update you here to give you a date on when we will charge credit cards for shipping.

Hello, once again, Naturalist Friends!
Given the anticipation of the past couple of weeks, as we get closer and closer to the delivery of the physical products for the Geologist Primer, we know everyone has been looking forward to another update. Well, we have some good news! We have tracking information for the shipment coming from Busan first to Chicago then to our distribution warehousing!
While we are still waiting on the cargo shipment of books to arrive in our fulfillment center, we’ll keep you updated and share some images of the other items that are going to be traveling to those of you that ordered extras with your books, either through the pledge levels or add-ons. Everything is looking very good and we’re excited for you to receive them! Please continue to be patient with us as we cross this final threshold, the cargo shipping containers do not have tracking like your typical postal shipment, we get notifications when they arrive and leave certain checkpoints and don’t have a minute to minute overview of the journey. That all said, the cargo container is in process and we should have more information soon.
Once we have everything in the warehouse we will be able to properly weigh and measure everything to calculate accurate shipping rates. You will be given fair warning before we charge your cards for shipping with notifications from BackerKit as well as an update here. I do recommend you need to change your address to do it now! We will be moving quickly once the books land! Everyone is on standby to make this happen as quickly as possible!
Now for something more fun! In the last update we shared the sample for the special edition of Geologist Primer but I realized you didn’t get a chance to see the standard edition. SOOOOO here are some photos of the sample of the standard edition!
The next update--while we wait--will be a little message from Anna as she is as excited as we are and working on some new, exciting additions to the Natural World Library.

Hey Everyone!
Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July holiday, or just a great day if you don't celebrate.
Good news! We have recently received photos of the first print sample of the Geologist Primer! This is already approved and the books are very close to landing at our distribution warehouse!

I also want to personally thank each of you for your patience as I start to transition over and take on the fulfillment and customer service side of Hunters Entertainment. It has been a slow process, but I’m learning the system pretty quickly. I still have a backlog of emails I am going through in the support email.
